I have two Shimano Citicas that Alan Weeks upgraded with boca ceramic bearings, carbontex drag system, and 7 to 1 Curado gears. I have been using the reels for two years and have not had any problems. I did not believe that changing the parts inside of the reel would make a noticeable difference. I was wrong. I cannot believe how smooth the reels are with the new parts. I have not yet had the privilege of fishing with any of the Weeks custom rods. I have handled them and they are the lightest most perfectly balanced rods I have ever had in my hands. I highly recommend Weeks Custom Rods and Reels to everyone who fishes. - Derek Dooley
